I literally can't contain my excitement right now!! 🤩 Monster Hunter Wilds has been my whole personality for the past month, and I've already devoured every single piece of content the base game has to offer. But guess what? Capcom heard my desperate SOS flare because the very first Title Update is dropping imminently!! We're talking new monsters, a proper social hub, and some seriously fun minigames — I'm about to lose my mind!
So, let's get into the deets because I know you're all just as feral for this as I am. The TU1 patch goes live globally on April 4, 2026 after a short maintenance window. Servers will go down for about 5 hours starting at 10pm UTC on April 3rd, and then — poof! — we’ll be able to download the update as soon as they come back online at 3am UTC. If you’re like me and absolutely must plan your entire life around playing the moment it drops, here’s exactly when you can jump in depending on your timezone:

Honestly, I’m setting like four alarms because there is NO way I’m missing this. The update brings three massive additions that I’ve been dreaming about since launch:
✨ Mizutsune Hunt – The elegant, bubble-spewing leviathan finally makes its Wilds debut! I hear the fight is absolutely gorgeous and really tests your mobility. Can't wait to craft that stunning armor set.
✨ Zho Shia Repeatable Quest – No more one-and-done! Now we can farm Zho Shia to our heart's content. The gear potential here is insane, and I’m already theory-crafting builds.
✨ The Grand Hub – A dedicated social space where we can hang out with friends, show off our layered armor, and just vibe together. They’ve added group fishing and a new barrel bowling minigame?? Be still, my heart.
But wait — there's more! (I love saying that). Later in the month, Capcom is spoiling us with two more events that will absolutely wreck my sleep schedule:
🌸 Festival of Accord: Blossomdance starting on April 22, 2026 – A spring celebration with limited-time quests, special rewards, and the whole hub decked out in cherry blossoms. I’m so ready for the aesthetic.
⚡ Arch-Tempered Rey Dau dropping on April 29, 2026 – This is the big one. An ultra-hard version of the flagship that will push even the most experienced hunters to their limits. Start stockpiling those max potions, besties.
And the best news? Capcom has already confirmed that Title Update 2 is coming this summer! So even after we conquer Arch-Tempered Rey Dau, the content train won’t stop.
